Law enforcement across Colorado Springs and the front range began an expired vehicle registration enforcement effort Sunday which will continue through this Saturday. Springs police will focus on cars whose registration has expired. Car owners will get citations, and for owners whose registration has lapsed more than a year, your vehicle will be impounded. There are several ways to renew your registration including in person at D-M-V offices and online.
