A Colorado Springs resident videotaped a Colorado Springs Police officer who may have been sleeping in his patrol car. The video was posted on Facebook. Reportedly this occurred in the parking lot of the Citadel Crossing Shopping Center. It’s not known when the video was taken. Colorado Springs police told our partners at KKTV 11 news they are aware of the video and are conducting an internal investigation. They have not identified the officer in the video.
