Colorado Springs police arrested a man Wednesday afternoon who was wanted for attempted murder and kidnapping. The suspect was identified as 33 year old Brandon Pierce. Authorities saw him coming out of a store and followed him after he left in a car. He would eventually be dropped off at a home in the 4100 block of Cougar Place. Someone in the home allowed police in to search the residence. A first sweep of the home turned up nothing. Police then brought in a canine officer who found pierce hiding under an air mattress. Among the charges he is facing are attempted murder, second degree assault, third degree assault and witness intimidation.
