Barry Morphew now has a 10 million dollar bond after a judge raised it Tuesday in Alamosa. Morphew has been charged with first degree murder in the death of his wife Suzanne 6 years ago. Last week in Denver he was involved in a hit and run accident. He was out on a 3 million dollar bond. One of the conditions of the bond was he could only leave his house for work or for an emergency. His GPS ankle monitor shows he has been out often, going to restaurants, walking the streets of Denver and walking on trails. Prosecutors say he is a flight risk. The judge agreed, and now Morphew remains in jail, with charges in the hit and run incident, and trying to raise the money for his newly adjusted bond. He makes another court appearance in early November.
