2 people were found dead in a home Monday morning in the Gleneagle area on Nichlas court. A person called the El Paso County Sheriff’s department asking for a welfare check for a female neighbor she had not seen in several days. The neighbor’s estranged husband, identified as 64 year old Donald Johnson had his car parked in the woman’s driveway. Deputies forced entry into her home and found 2 people dead. Johnson died of what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The woman was identified as Yoon Jung Shin. Deputies are treating the case as a murder suicide.
