Colorado Springs City Council wants more time to decide if an A-I Data center can call Colorado Springs home. Yesterday in a marathon session city council voted 7-2 to put off a decision on Project Taurus until April of next year. Thursday’s meeting was packed with proponents and opponents talking about both the benefits and risks of a center going into the former Intel chip building on west Garden of the Gods. City council says they still have unanswered questions and want more research into A-I centers and their requirements for power and water, along with potential noise issues.
