U.S News and World Report has recognized the United States Air Force Academy as one of the top undergraduate colleges in the nation. The academy was ranked as the 3rd best public school. Programs within the school including aerospace, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering made the top 10 in the new report. Some 1700 colleges and universities were judged on factors including academics, retention and graduation rates.
