The Custer County Sheriff’s office is following the lead of the El Paso County Sheriff’s office and will no longer use Flock license reader cameras. The sheriff’s department said a growing number of county residents were concerned about how the camera system was used and worry about privacy issues. The cameras were recently removed. This, despite the fact the Custer County Sheriff’s office credits the camera system with the apprehension of a number of suspects.
