The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, better known as NOAA, released its early winter outlook for Novemeber, December and January. For Colorado they are predicting anywhere from a 30 to 50% chance of above normal precipitation for parts of the front range and eastern Colorado. Colorado Springs and El Paso county are right on the edge of that forecast. This, as weather experts predict a record setting El Nino could bring heavy snowfall throughout the winter to parts of the state.
