Springs police took a juvenile student at Sierra High School into custody Monday afternoon. A school resource officer at the school was told a student was threatening another student and had a weapon. That resource made contact with the student and discovered they were carrying a gun in their waste band. Police were contacted and the student was taken into custody. The gun was never fired, and no one was hurt.
