An announcement Tuesday morning from the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Department on the Aspen Acres Fire. The sheriff has downgraded evacuations for residents who live along the north and northeastern side of the perimeter of the fire. Residents south of Highway 96 and north of Highway 78 are allowed to return to their homes. That area is now under pre-evacuation status. You will still need a re-entry card to get back in. The fire is now at 99 thousand acres with 36% containment. There is a meeting tonight at Centennial High School in Pueblo at 7 o clock to discuss the latest on the fire.
