2 prolific offenders who eluded springs police officers for several weeks were finally nabbed by the good guys Wednesday. The two suspects reportedly hit stores in the springs, stealing merchandise and then selling the items on Facebook Marketplace. Detectives with the Metro Retail Pawn and Metal Unit found the pair and surrounded a home in the 3500 block of North Academy and arrested the two. They were identified as 56 year old Christobal Hernandez-Lopez and 41 year old Melissa Lopez.
