Jury selection will begin in mid-February for a Colorado Springs man accused of shooting and killing a neighbor during a dispute in late May. 65 year old Timothy Arvidson, a former republican senate candidate claims he shot 43 year old Robert Dougher in self defense after the victim charged him during an argument in the Villa De Mesa neighborhood in southwest Colorado Springs. The two neighbors were constantly at odds reportedly over what Arvidson alleged was drug use and hoarding by Dougher. Arvidson was in court Thursday and pled not guilty to a charge of first degree murder.
