MANITOU SPRINGS, CO – A rock slide continues to block the eastbound off-ramp from Highway 24 into Manitou Springs.
CDOT has closed eastbound Manitou Avenue from Highway 24 to the roundabout at Serpentine Drive.
Serpentine Drive also remains closed between Manitou Avenue and the highway because the retaining wall between the two roadways also is showing signs of cracking.
Engineers will be onsite today to determine what steps will be required before the road can be reopened.
