EL PASO COUNTY, CO – A 37-year old man has died following a fall on the Palmer Lake Reservoir Trail late Saturday night.
The victim fell roughly 40 feet and reportedly suffered from a broken leg. When El Paso County Search and Rescue reached the victim, he was suffering from a weak pulse and was gasping for air. He died shortly thereafter.
The man was hiking with another person. What led to the fall hasn’t been determined.
The death is being treated as an accident. The man has not been identified.
