A man, suspected of killing the owner of a Colorado Springs auto repair shop last month, is on his way back to the city to face charges

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A man, suspected of killing the owner of a Colorado Springs auto repair shop last month, is on his way back to the city to face charges.

59 year old Derrick Davis was arrested last month in Minnesota.

He, and 38 year old Eric Grant, are accused of fatally shooting 50 year old George Maldonado during a robbery near Platte and Chelton.

Davis waived his last extradition hearing, and is returning to the Springs.

Grant remains at large.

Both men are charged with 1st degree murder.
