The founder of the 2-11 Crew white supremacist prison gang has been found dead in prison.
The Colorado Department of Corrections hasn’t said how Benjamin Davis died, but the incident is being investigated as a suicide.
The 2-11 Crew was founded in Denver County Jail, but gained notoriety in El Paso County after the 2013 murder of State Department of Corrections Chief Tom Clements at his home in Monument.
He was killed by Evan Ebel, a 28-year-old member of the gang.
