The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms says more than a dozen people are charged in connection with a series of Colorado gun store thefts.

The arrests are tied to multiple gun store break-ins and involved hundreds of weapons.

The ATF says those arrested belonged to several different groups who planned the burglaries separately.

The agency says they are still working to recover the guns stolen from businesses in Denver, Thornton, Lone Tree, Brighton, Springfield and Colorado Springs.
