PEYTON, CO – State troopers have ruled out drugs or alcohol in a deadly crash in eastern El Paso County.
It happened Monday afternoon on Peyton Highway, about a half-mile south of Drennan Road.
Investigators say 40 year old Thomas Boatman of Yoder lost control of an SUV, went off the road and rolled.
Boatman was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown out of the vehicle.
He did not survive.
The cause of the accident is still being investigated.
