COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – C-Dot held another public meeting in Colorado Springs last night about the widening of I-25 between Monument and Castle Rock.

The agency wants to add a toll lane in each direction, an idea that was not well received by residents.

C-Dot claims drivers would have the option to pay the toll and enjoy “reliable” passage to their destination, while most drivers would opt for the two free general purpose lanes.

C-Dot is also considering having all lanes be general purpose lanes free and open to all traffic, however if that ends up to be the final decision, the third lane cannot be converted into a toll lane at a later date.
