Detra Farries Being Considered for Halfway House

A woman convicted of dragging and killing a Colorado Springs tow truck driver in 2011 could be released into a halfway house.

Detra Farries will undergo screening for community corrections Wednesday.

Farries tried to stop Allen Rose from towing her SUV by driving away.

Rose got tangled in the tow cables and was dragged for over a mile. Farries was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
