A woman is in custody following a scary situation early Monday night.
A heavy law enforcement presence surrounded the Westmeadow Peaks Apartment Complex near
South Academy and Highway 115 after an adult female barricaded herself inside, reportedly with weapons. She was eventually taken into custody.
Authorities examined the apartments for fire damage caused by the suspect.
