Bureau of Land Management Headquarters Moving to Colorado

Colorado may soon be home to the Federal Government’s largest land agency.

Colorado Senator Corey Gardner says the Trump administration is moving the Bureau of Land Management Headquarters from Washington DC to Grand Junction.

Gardner didn’t say when the move would take place.

BLM manages nearly 388,000 square miles of public land mostly in the western U.S. and Gardner, along with other politicians believe the Bureau of Land Management headquarters should be closer to the land it manages.

When asked, a spokesperson for BLM would not confirm or deny the move.
