Surprise Witness in Patrick Frazee Trial

There was a surprise witness Friday afternoon at the Patrick Frazee trial in Cripple Creek.

An inmate housed next to Frazee in the Teller County jail testified on behalf of the prosecution that Frazee passed him notes, asking if he had any gang connections because Frazee wanted to kill his former girlfriend Krystal Kenney.

She is the prosecution’s star witness, and testified earlier that she helped clean up after Frazee allegedly killed his fiancé Kelsey Berreth in her Woodland Park home Thanksgiving of 2018.

The inmate also said Frazee wanted to arrange the killing of witnesses in his case. Frazee is charged with 2 counts of murder.
