A motorcyclist is dead after he lost control of his bike, and crashed into a sign.
The crash happened on Marksheffel south of Highway 24 at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
The State Patrol had lanes closed for hours after the crash for the investigation.
The driver of the Suzuki motorcycle, 46-year-old Marco Luzanilla of Colorado Springs, was wearing a helmet, but suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, alcohol or drug are not considered to be factors in the crash.
