A Colorado Springs police officer was taken into custody.
51-year-old officer Jeffrey Warkocz was taken into custody Tuesday on a felony charge of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud or deceit.
No other details were released because of an ongoing investigation. Warkoch is on paid administrative leave, pending formal charges from the District Attorney’s office.
