Colorado Attorney General John Suthers says he's running for Mayor of Colorado Springs.
Suthers says he's in the race regardless whether Mayor Steve Bach decides to run for a second term. Suthers is serving the last year in his term as Attorney General.
Suthers told KVOR his hometown has stalled, and needs collaborative leadership. Suthers' announcement came a day after El Paso county commissioner Amy Lathen announced she will run for mayor.
