A Colorado Springs family is displaced after a fire damaged their home Wednesday afternoon.
A blaze broke out on Bennett Lane, near Circle and Galley. No one was injured. Four people and a dog were able to escape. The house is now considered unlivable. Fire officials say the man who was rescued from the roof was trying to extinguish the fire himself.
The cause remains under investigation.
