Springs Police continue to investigate the death of the teenage boy. Springs Police spokeswoman Lieutenant Catherine Buckley says foul play is not suspected. Doherty Principal Kevin Gardner says all staff followed emergency protocol.
Doherty closed for the rest of the day and activities and athletics yesterday were cancelled. Today the school returns to a normal schedule, and counselors will be on hand for students and staff.
