An eastern El Paso County woman will be in court today, accused of murdering a man in Calhan yesterday afternoon.
Sheriff’s investigators arrested 59-year-old Heather Neville after she shot and killed a 31-year-old male during an altercation over a septic tank hookup. It happened at a residence near Judge Orr Road and Calhan Highway. Five adults and five children were at the home at the time.
Neville is charged with first degree murder, which carries an automatic life sentence upon conviction. The victim’s name will be released following an autopsy.
