Police investigate bomb hoax at Springs elementary school

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Colorado Springs Police are investigating a bomb hoax in Rockrimmon. 

Someone called Foothills Elementary School Monday afternoon and made a statement concerning an explosive device.

The school, on Allegheny Drive, was immediately put on lock-down. Authorities combed the building and surrounding areas, but found nothing.

Students were allowed to leave a short while later. No suspects have been identified.
