TELLER COUNTY, CO – A 100 acre fire in Teller County is now contained.
It broke out Tuesday afternoon, forcing dozens of residents in the the Western Hills, Highland Meadows, and High Chateau subdivisions to leave their homes. Most of those evacuation orders have been lifted.
There’s no word on the cause of the blaze.
Fire danger will remain high again today, with Red Flag Warnings in place for all of southeastern Colorado, including El paso, Pueblo, and Teller Counties.
