COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Autopsies are pending to identify two people found inside a burning home in Colorado Springs.
Monday afternoon, police were called to a shooting on Redwood Drive, near Austin Bluffs and Nevada.
A deceased female was found inside the house, but smoke and fire forced officers back out. Firefighters found a dead male before extinguishing the blaze.
Authorities say both had suffered gunshot wounds.
The cause of the fire is also under investigation. Police say there is no danger to the community.
