COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A Springs man is facing charges after shooting himself in the foot.
It happened Wednesday night on Chicory court, near Powers and Barnes.
Police say Adam Hirtle shot himself in his garage.
Hirtle told police he wanted to know what it felt like to be shot. He took his boot off and shot it, then placed his boot back on, and then intentionally shot himself in the foot. He’ll be okay.
Hirtle was charged with prohibited use of weapons, reckless endangerment, and child abuse.
