COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – More rain is expected in the Pikes Peak region through this afternoon.

Flash flooding in southeastern Colorado Springs prompted at least two water rescues Thursday night when two women in separate cars got stuck near Tia Juana and Platte.

It rained over much of eastern Colorado Thursday and triggered several flash flood warnings and watches, including one over the Waldo Canyon burn scar.

There were reports of 1-inch hail in Colorado Springs and El Paso County.

The region faces a risk of more flooding today as rain will fall over already saturated ground.
