TRINIDAD, CO – Trinidad Police Officer Ron Arlint’s body camera was rolling when he shot Todd Dye in April, and the footage was crucial to the ensuing investigation.
Wednesday, it was announced that Officer Arlint has been cleared of all wrongdoing in the shooting that killed Dye.
Arlint was responding to reports of a squatter inside a vacant trailer. Dye pointed a gun at Arlint.
Dye was from Colorado Springs and was a jail escapee.
