
DINOSAUR NATIONAL MONUMENT – A lightning-sparked blaze has burned just under one square mile in a remote part of Dinosaur National Monument in Northwestern Colorado.
It was first reported Saturday.
Ground crews and a helicopter are battling the flames, and more firefighters and air support have been requested.
No structures or visitors are threatened.
The wildfire is in the Colorado part of the 300-square-mile monument, which straddles the Utah border.
