COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Charges are filed against a driver who caused a horrific crash in Colorado Springs Sunday night.
71-year-old Michael Friedlander has been arrested for two counts of vehicular assault.
Police say Friedlander ran a red light at North Nevada and Jackson, colliding with a turning car.
Two people from each vehicle were hospitalized with critical injuries. Police say speed and and alcohol may have been factors, and additional charges are possible.
