MONUMENT, CO – Another heated meeting in Monument Thursday over a methadone clinic that’s set to open in town.
Neighbors are getting legal representation to fight the town’s laws that allow the clinic to open next to a popular park.
A group of volunteers gathered hundreds of community members to begin to formulate a plan that would prevent Colonial Management from opening their doors.
Town officials haven’t ruled out revising an ordinance that intends to make opening a business downtown easier.
