COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A Colorado Springs boy is fighting to stay alive after being shot Thursday afternoon.
The juvenile was found in an apartment hallway on Chapman Drive, near Murray and Airport.
He’s now listed in critical condition at a Denver-area hospital.
Other teens say the victim accidentally shot himself, but police are treating the case as a criminal investigation.
The victim’s name has not been released.
