COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A Greeley man is dead after a three-vehicle accident at Highway 24 and 31st Street, Sunday evening.

State troopers say a car, driven by a 16-year-old girl from Colorado Springs, turned in front of an oncoming pickup truck. The smaller vehicle then impacted a Chevy Suburban that was stopped at a light.

The collision killed the car’s passenger, 68-year-old Rudolph Munoz of Greeley. The car’s driver sustained moderate injuries. Two people in the truck were seriously hurt.

Failure to yield right-of-way is being investigated as a contributing factor.
