MANITOU SPRINGS, CO – Aggressive panhandlers are becoming a problem for business owners in Manitou Springs.
Business owners say they’ve seen vagrants follow tourists asking for food and money, and becoming belligerent when they don’t comply.
They took their concerns to the Soda Springs Park Task Force, then to city council Tuesday night.
Business owners believe the problems are coming from a just a few members of the transient population.
