Air Force Academy grad killed in Afghanistan

AFGHANISTAN – Two Americans, killed in Afghanistan in an insider attack by Afghan soldiers Wednesday, were Air Force Special Operations personnel.

They’re identified as 27-year-old Captain Matthew Roland of Kentucky, and 31-year-old Staff Sergeant Forrest Sibley of Florida. 

Captain Roland was a 2010 graduate of the Air Force Academy.

The attack was carried out at a military base in Helmand Province. Three other americans were wounded.  The attackers were killed.
