FOUNTAIN, CO – An El Paso County man is due in court today after allegedly murdering his girlfriend and then setting her Fountain home on fire.
29-year-old Thomas Turley is charged with first degree murder in the death of 28-year-old Larissa Schiess. She was beaten and strangled in February, before he home in Fountain was set on fire.
Turley was found the next day with some of the victim’s belongings in Pueblo. Turley told an officer, “I got her killed” when he was arrested, but later claimed no involvement with the murder.
