COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A motorcyclist dies while trying to outrun a state trooper on I-25 in Colorado Springs.
An officer clocked a motorcycle going 101 miles an hour Tuesday morning. He gave chase, but the rider, 28-year-old Justin Aspuria, smashed into a road sign near North Gate Boulevard.
The trooper immediately began CPR, but Aspuria later died at a hospital.
