DOUGLAS COUNTY, CO – A memorial service for fallen Colorado State Trooper, Jaimie Jursevics, will be held this morning in Denver.
Members of law enforcement from across the country will attend, and participate in a procession of family members and first responders. The service is at 10:30 am at the Denver First Church of the Nazarene.
Meanwhile, the retired Army Colonel suspected of hitting Jursevics with his vehicle on I-25 near Castle Rock earlier this month remains free on bond. Eric Henderson of Peyton faces charges of vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of a deadly accident, driving under the influence, and careless driving causing death.
