EL PASO COUNTY, CO – Seven people are safe following a home invasion in Cascade.
Dispatchers got repeated 911 hang-up calls from a home Sunday and heard a woman crying. A SWAT team rescued four people. Three others escaped from a garage. One suspect was taken to a hospital for an unspecified medical condition. That person was later released.
28-year-old Eli Hahn was booked for burglary, aggravated robbery, kidnapping, felony menacing, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and child abuse. He’s due in court tomorrow for advisement. Investigators do not know if the suspects and victims are related.
Highway 24 was closed down for several hours.
