COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A man is due in court today after allegedly attacking his roommate with a hammer Friday.
Authorities say 51-year old Duane Moore hit the victim in the head several times while the roommate slept in a living room recliner.
Moore was arrested at a home on South Circle after a standoff with a SWAT team for attempted murder, assault and felony menacing. He also had an outstanding warrant for a parole violation.
