COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – A man is under arrest for allegedly shooting a neighbor Tuesday night.
It happened on Avalanche Heights, near Vickers and Union.
51-year-old Frank Dawkins told police he misfired a handgun while cleaning it. A round went through a wall, hitting a person on the other side. The victim is expected to recover.
Dawkins was arrested for illegal discharge of a firearm.
