FREMONT COUNTY, CO – Both suspects are now under arrest in a brutal attack on a good samaritain in Cotopaxi.
37-year-old Sean Overstreet was arrested Wednesday in Florence. His accomplice is 19 year old Courtney Plante. Both face attempted murder, and other charges.
The victim was Plante’s former teacher. She allegedly went to his house Monday, asking for help with a disabled U-Haul truck. He followed her, and Overstreet stabbed him four times.
The victim fled to a passer-by for help, but the attackers rammed the truck into that person’s vehicle. Plante and Overstreet fled in the teacher’s car. The victim is still recovering. Plante had a substantial amount of meth when she was arrested Tuesday.
